Prerequisites:

A learner must have Valid CCNA Security Certificate. (IINS exam) or  equivalent knowledge to recertify CCNA, in case of expired.

Content:
This course is based on the ASA 8.4 code. The Deploying Cisco ASA FIREWALL Solutions (FIREWALL) v2.0 course is part of the curriculum path leading to the Cisco Certified Network Professional Security (CCNP Security) certification. Instructor-led course is aimed at providing network security engineers with the knowledge and skills that are needed to implement and maintain perimeter solutions that are based on Cisco ASA security appliances. At the end of the course, students will be able to reduce risk to their IT infrastructure and applications using Cisco ASA security appliance features, and provide detailed operations support for the ASA appliance. 

Cisco ASA adaptive security appliance Basic Configurations:
Identify the ASA product family, Licensing, Boot process, Interface settings, Management features, Access control (ACLs) features, Network Address Translation (NAT) on the ASA, ASDM public server feature, ASA quality of service (QoS) settings, ASA transparent firewall
ASA Routing Features:
Implement ASA static routing & dynamic routing
ASA Inspection Policy:
Implement ASA inspections features
ASA Advanced Network Protections
Implement ASA Botnet traffic filter
ASA High Availability:
Implement ASA Interface redundancy and load sharing features
Implement ASA virtualization feature
Implement ASA stateful failover
